As an innovation, JCI City Plus brought forward the idea of a business tour. After much research, a business company which is not well known by the public was chosen, the Fromagerie de l’île Maurice, an artisanal camembert cheese manufacturer, situated at Grande Rosalie. Contact was made with the owner of the company, Mr. Hubert Verbizier, who was delighted about the idea of the business tour. On the 7th July 2012, a group of 15 members of JCI went to Fromagerie de l’île Maurice, where Mr. Hubert Verbizier gave a warm welcome and with much enthusiasm, demonstrated how camembert cheese was made and stored followed by a guided tour of the place.
