As the Millennium Development Goals deadline has passed, the world has come together to identify the next development agenda, which is now know as the
Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Made up of 17 individual goals, the Global Goals is the world’s largest attempt in the history of the human race to make the world a better place. The 17-goal plan aims to end poverty, halt climate change and fight injustice and inequality. However for these important goals to be achieved we all must recognize our responsibility in creating a better
world.At the 2015 JCI World Congress, the General Assembly adopted the Kanazawa Declaration and hence committed to advance the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
